COVID-19 Update

As of this week with everything starting to reopen we will begin to have services at the Funeral Home. We are still practicing social distancing by seating every other row as well as other precautionary measures as needed or requested by our families. If you have questions regarding a service please feel free to contact us. We appreciate our families and community for your understanding during this time of uncertainty and are thankful for the opportunity to serve you.

 Edwards Rhonda

Rhonda Sue Edwards, age 59, of Lamar, Missouri passed away November 2, 2019, at Cox Barton County Hospital.
Rhonda was born February 29, 1960 in North Kansas City, MO to Hollis A. Jay and Alberta F. (Lyon) Jay. Rhonda attended Ruskin High School in Kansas City, MO and had worked as a school bus driver in Kansas City, MO before moving to Lamar, MO.

Survivors include as son, Thomas Fordyce and his wife Crystal, Kansas City, MO; daughters, Jessica Fordyce and fiancee Rosie Pitts, Lamar, MO and Amy Parker and her husband Charles, Lamar, MO; a brother, Tim Jay, Lamar, MO; a sister Holly Grubb and her husband Kenneth, Gladstone, MO; grandchildren Robert Fordyce and Cassi Walters, Heather Carpenter and Robin Demoss, Wesley Fordyce, Shandy Coumer, Gabriella Golden, Rose Parker Samantha Parker, Patty Parker; a great-grandchild Rylee Golden and many other kids that she claimed as her own grandchildren and had many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2019, at Daniel Funeral Home with visitation to follow.
