Jason John Stephen, age 41, of Lamar, MO passed away Sunday May 24, 2020, at his home after a long illness.

Jason was born June 19, 1978 in Marlton, NJ to William Joseph Stephen Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth (Rahme) Stephen. Jason moved to Lamar with his family from Collings Lakes, NJ. He loved to eat Italian food and watch television, enjoyed his fish tank and going riding in the truck with his dad. He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church with his family.

Survivors include his mother Dorothy Stephen; two brothers, Billy Stephen and his wife Jessie of Arcola, MO, Vaughn Stephen and his wife Renee of Lamar, MO; four nephews, two nieces and one great-nephew.

Preceding Jason in death were his father, William Stephen Sr. and his grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2020, at Cornerstone Baptist Church of Lamar.

Contributions are suggested to and made payable to Cornerstone Baptist Church in care of Daniel Funeral Home.

Truly sorry to hear of Jason's passing... I loved taking care of him thru home health and as a neighbor... I have alot of fond memories of Jason... He will be greatly missed ... Condolences to the family

Jason is now in perfect health! He lived such a long life with his problems, so I can just picture him running, jumping, and doing things he never could before. I know you will miss him but he's there where you will see him again one day. Thank God for that hope!
