Fabubion Susan

Susan Beth Faubion, age 65, of Lamar, Missouri was carried into the arms of Jesus while worshiping with her family through FaceTime on September 22, 2020, at Freeman Hospital West.

Susie was born January 21, 1955 in Oakland, California to Leotus Kreighbaum and Dorothy (Scott) Kreighbaum. Susie graduated from Lamar High School in the class of 1973.

On June 10, 1972, Susie married the love of her life, Terry Edward "Bonzo" Faubion, in Lamar, MO. She appreciated all the fun trips they took together with her family and her sister Carole and Doug. She loved getting together with all of her brothers and sisters on both sides of the family and loved all of her nieces and nephews.

Susie had previously worked at Ansley's TV for 17 years. Her real goal in life was to get married and raise her family, which she did so well. Her grandchildren were her biggest blessings.

Susie was a member of Milford Christian Church and was involved in a home Bible study group for 30 years. She had many unique ministries, but her passion was serving the widows. They each held a very special place in her heart and she loved them immensely. She truly had the gifts of compassion and mercy and God blessed many through her. God blessed her with many friends and she cherished each of them.

Susie spent countless hours preparing for the perfect parties for every holiday for her family. She also enjoyed shopping for the perfect gifts for EVERYONE!

I have followed my Faubion family side for decades and just would like to share my condolences to you and your family. From what I have read, Susie was a grand lady and has taken her rightful place in heaven. I'm sure she is looking down and smiling at her family.

Dear Terry & Family,
I am so sorry to learn of your sorrow. Susie was such a sweet young woman and only grew lovelier with time. Although I lost track when I left Lamar in 1976, I had the joy of seeing her again at a Women's Retreat a number of years ago. I will be praying for all you who are left behind that God will comfort your aching hearts and bring many wonderful memories to help you through the next days, months & years. Blessings, Betty (Salkil) Morris

Susie was a wonderful person, a light in the darkness, with the brightest smile. She will be truly missed. I know my dad always appreciated her friendship, and I'd like to think they are spending some time together in heaven now. Prayers for her family and friends.
