Amy Onka

Amy LuAnn Onka, age 80, of Golden City, Missouri passed away February 05, 2019, at her home. Amy was born June 25, 1938 to Irvin Brundage and Polly (Sanderson) Brundage. Amy was a high school graduate and had worked as a Telephone Operator for AT&T for several years in Kansas City, Missouri. She was an Episcopalian and enjoyed crocheting and spending time with family Survivors include four daughters, Lucinda (Bartholomew) Bedwell, Independence, Missouri, Angela Long, Independence, Missouri, Audrey (Ben) Hunter, and Amy (Carl) Ruth, Golden City, Missouri; one sister, Sandy (Wren) Balance, North Kansas City, Missouri; 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Onka, and a son Timothy Long. Funeral service will be 6:00 pm, Monday, February 11, 2019 at Daniel Funeral Home with visitation to follow. Private family burial will be at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, Missouri.
