Arline Shaver

Arline Shaver, age 68, of Lamar, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Freeman Hospital West. Arline was born July 8, 1945 at Hannon, MO to Ocee Olen and Naomi Violet (Hoover) Williams.  On August 10, 1972, she married Gerald Lee Shaver Sr. at Lamar, MO.  In addition to being a homemaker, she had worked at Wal-Mart, Pizza Hut as well as being the bookkeeper for Shaver Repair Shop.  Arline enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Survivors include her husband Gerald, of the home; a son, John Wesley Shaver of Lamar, two step-sons, Lee & Andrea Shaver Jr. of Lamar and Joe & Connie Shaver of Lamar; three daughters, Mary Kathleen of Oklahoma, Rayma & David Walters of Lamar, and Amy & Robert Sparks of Sheldon, two step-daughters, Ivy & Michael Davis of Lockwood, and Debra Pugh of Neosho; four brothers, Richard & Liz Williams of Lamar, Bob & Rose Williams of Kansas City, KS, John Williams of Kansas, Jake & Rose of Pittsburg, KS; three sisters, Lillian & Ron Hartman of Oklahoma, Althea & Harold VanDeMark, of Lamar, and Vera & Dan Pagel of Strong City, KS; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arline was preceded in death by an infant son, Tracy Walker, an infant brother, Charles Ronald Williams, and a brother, Jimmy Evans. The family will receive friend 6:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Daniel Funeral Home.
