Aubry Dale Gardner 89 years old, passed away April 29th 2012 in Palm Springs California. Dale Gardner was born in Jericho Springs Missouri to Zula Mae and Floyd Gardner on January 6, 1923.
He graduated from high school at Lamar Missouri where he met and later married Sara Jo Perry. Dale served honorably with the U.S. Military during World War II. After the war, they resided in Wichita Kansas where he was engaged as a broker in the real estate business. In 1960 Mr. Gardner moved to California where he also pursued a successful career as a real estate broker in the Los Angles area and later the Palm Springs area until his death.
He is survived by two sons, Wade Gardner of Lamar Missouri and Jim Dale Gardner of Parsons Kansas; three brothers, Rex Gardner of Redding California, Don Gardner of Sheldon Missouri, and Eugene "Gene" Gardner of Fairbanks Alaska; and one sister, Helen Gardner Arft of Lamar Missouri.
He was preceded in death by two brother, Arron "Scrappy" Gardner of Lamar Missouri, and his brother John Gardner of Lamar Missouri, who passed away two weeks after Dale. Graveside Services will be 1:00 pm June 10, 2012 at St James Ridge Cemetery. approximately four miles N. E. of Milford Missouri. Minister Mike Gage will officiate.
There will be a get together for friends and family in the Denny's restaurant banquet room at 2:00 pm following the service.
