Bobby L. Quarles

Bobby Lee Quarles, age 79, formerly of Lamar, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Quarles was born May 14, 1932, to Lee Harris and Eunice Irene (Plain) Quarles. He was a business owner, pilot, Shriner, traveler and motorcycle rider. Bobby owned and operated his own mechanic shop and gas station in Lamar for many years. After retiring they traveled the county managing RV Parks. Survivors include two daughters, Tamara Brady and Alisa Welch and a son, John Quarles; nine grandchildren, Heather, Chad, Kari, Joel, Shae, Layne, Latisha, Katrina and Sydney and 10 great-grandchildren.  Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis E. (Fitch) Quarles and a daughter, Jocelyn Hunt. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 am Saturday May 19, 2012 at Daniel Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Grace Hospice of Kansas City, Missouri in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
