Bruce Frieden

Bruce Lee Frieden, age 61, of Liberal, Missouri passed away September 17, 2021, at his home.   Bruce was born July 13, 1960 in Lamar, MO to Virgil M. Frieden and Bernice Katie (Braker) Frieden. Bruce graduated from Liberal High School in the class of 1978. Bruce married Isa Gordon on March 14, 1980, the marriage was dissolved in 1982. He partnered with Melba Bass being the father figure for her boys, Jonathan and Nathan for 10 years.   Bruce attended Vo-Tech for welding, working as a welder for many years, mostly for Butler Machine. He also worked for Orlan Kellenberger until 2010 when he returned to the Frieden Farm working with his brothers.   Survivors include four brothers; Ivan (Linda) Frieden of Liberal, MO, Ted (Debra) Frieden, Rex (Vera) Frieden and Tom (Tauna) Frieden, all of Lamar, MO, one sister, Vera (Larry) Baer of Edelstein, Illinois, several nieces and nephews, and Jonathan (Amber) Bass and Nathan (Michelle) Bass.   Preceding Bruce in death were his parents and one brother, Edwin Frieden.   Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery in Lamar, MO.   Contributions are suggested and made payable to the donor's choice in care of Daniel Funeral Home.   Condolences may be shared at www.dfhlamar.com
