Christopher John Barber

Christopher John Barber, age 48, of Lamar died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at his home.   Christopher was born August 18, 2962 to James Charles Andrew and Geneva Faye (Hammers) Barber at St. Louis Missouri.  He was formerly employed by Thorco Industries as a welder. Christopher also operated a metal recycling business.  Survivors include two daughters, Toya Pettyjohn of Sheldon, MO, and Marie Barber of Springfield, MO; four brothers, Shane Barber of Bourbon, MO, David Barber of San Leon, TX, Eric and his wife Angie Barber of Manila, AR, Danny and his wife Patricia Harris of Blytheville, AR; one sister, Moniek Chambers of New Smyrna, FL; three grand children, Donald Pettyjohn, Christopher James Barber, Braxton Barber; five nephews and four nieces. A Memorial Service and Burial will be scheduled at a later date.
