Clarence Carter

Clarence Eugene Carter, age 80, of Lamar, died Wednesday January 2, 2013 after a short illness. Clarence was born February 16, 1932 in Nebraska to Frank and Sarah Carter.  He was married to Janelle Irene Bell and she preceded him in death. Clarence worked as a woodcutter. Survivors include five sons; Wendall & Julie Carter of Lamar, MO, Rick & Marilyn Carter of Omaha, NE, Allen Carter of Lamar, MO, David & Lillie Carter of Lamar, MO and Mike Carter of CA; one daughter Debbie Taffner of Nixa, MO; 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday January 7, 2013 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lake Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time Monday at the funeral home.
