Dale Catherine Schuenemann, age 56, of Lamar, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at her home following a long illness.
Dale was born June 5, 1957, at Furstenfeldbruck Air Base to Eugene and Irene (Brooker) Rosan. She moved with her family to Delaware, where she spent her childhood, and lived most of her life in Florida. In addition to being a homemaker, Dale had worked as a home health CNA. She was an avid reader, a prolific writer, and a motorcycle enthusiast. While in Florida, Dale married George Schueneman and he preceded her in death in 1998. Because of declining health, she moved to Lamar in 2008 to be near family. She was a member of Cornerstone Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Paul Phillip Jr. and Leslie Hitchcock and three grandchildren, Dalton, Alexandrea “Belle”, and Bryson Hitchcock, all of Cocoa, Florida; two brothers, Chip & wife Margie Rosan of Dover, Delaware and Larry Hughes of Felton, Delaware. She leaves aunts and uncles, Noel & Lynn Grigory and Diane Truscott, all of Lamar, Danny Rosan of Arkansas; and two nephews, Michael Rosan of Felton, Delaware and Christopher Rosan of Kenton, Delaware.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 22nd at Cornerstone Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Jack Slade officiating.
