Diana Lea Spencer, age 54, of Nevada, Missouri, passed away on December 7, 2024, in Lamar, Missouri.
Diana was born on December 10, 1969, in Nevada, Missouri, to Vern Eugene Spencer and Donna Sue (McReynolds) Spencer. She spent over two decades working as a manager at 54 Cafe in Nevada, where she formed deep connections with her co-workers and customers, who she considered part of her extended family.
She is survived by her daughter, Meghan Spencer (Dashawn Wiley) of Kansas City, Missouri; her brothers, Robert Spencer (Susan) of Lamar, Missouri, and Michael Spencer of Nevada, Missouri; and her beloved grandchildren, AnnaMarie (Zaydon Lower) Miranda and Jovani Miranda, both of Nevada. Diana is also survived by her significant other, Laverne Scotten, nieces and nephews, Ashley and Adam Richards, Abby and Andrew Bryson, Blake and Megan Tripp, Brandon Tripp, Jesse and Nicole Spencer, Brooke and Brandon Kirbey, Bailee and Calvin Gish, Tori Spencer and Seb Stollar, Carrie Spencer, Owen Spencer and an abundance of great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Donna; her sister, Tammy Sue Spencer; her grandchildren, Matias Miranda and Elena Miranda; her nieces, Aimee Spencer and Gracie Spencer; and her nephew, Colton Spencer.
A visitation to honor Diana’s life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the VFW in Nevada, Missouri.
