Donald Wayne Riley, age 71, of Jasper, Missouri passed away Tuesday,  May 17, 2011 at Carthage Health and Rehabilitation Center.      Don was born January 15, 1940 at Kansas City, Kansas to James and Pauline Riley.  Always a self-sufficient entrepreneur, Don owned and operated several heavy equipment companies, building roads, dams, & reservoirs in many southern states and Mexico.  He had also owned and operated farms and ranches in Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma over the years.   Don was a generous benefactor who truly enjoyed helping others.  It was important to him to be informed of world news and he appreciated CNN.  A great day for him would include attending an auction, using his cooking skills to prepare a banquet for family and friends, or any other activity that could be shared with his wife and children.  Don was a member of Jasper Christian Church.      On December 31, 1997, at Laredo, Texas, Don married the love of his life, Rosa Ramos, and she survives, of the home.  Also surviving are his children, James and wife Lisa Riley, Austin, Texas, Don W. Riley, Jr. and Donna R. Riley, both of the home; a granddaughter, Jacquelyn Riley, Austin, Texas; and dear friends, Larry & Brenda Dade, Ronnie Coffman, and James & Renee Arthur.      Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21st at Daniel Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at Rich Hill, Missouri.      Memorial contributions are suggested to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch in care of the funeral home.
