Donald Lee Hunt

Donald Lee Hunt, age 94, of Lamar, Missouri passed away November 11, 2023, in Ft. Myers, Florida.
 
Donald was born October 3, 1929 in Girard, Kansas to Homer Don Hunt and Mary Ann (Montgomery) Hunt. On September 17, 1961, Donald married Cecelia Elizabeth Radell in Girard, Kansas.
 
Donald was a dairy farmer and retired in 2001.

Survivors include one son, Michael (Audrey) Hunt of Lamar, MO; one daughter, Mary Beth (Darrick) Saunders of Ft. Myers, FL; six grandchildren, Austin Saunders, Jereme Saunders, Hannah Saunders, Harley (Johnny) Veazey, Alex Probert and Grant Probert; and two great-grandchildren, Buel Veazey and Baelor Veazey.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Samuel Clarence Hunt; and two sisters, Mary Lou Jones and Harriet Katherine Kelley.
 
A memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 11, 2023 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Girard City Cemetery in Girard, KS.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to either American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
