Ethel Margaret Drumm

Margaret Drum, age 104, of Lamar, died Friday September 14, 2012 at Truman Healthcare Center. Margaret was born August 21, 1908 at Blue Rapids, Kansas to Josiah and Lora Anna (Loofbourrrow) Blair.  She graduated High School and attended College.  She had worked for eight years as a bookkeeper for the State Auditor in Jefferson City and at various other firms.  Margaret loved music and especially the violin.  She was also an avid gardener. Margaret is survived by one daughter, Beverly Jean "Carla" Cook; one granddaughter Cynthia Elaine Quigg of Lenexa, KS; one grandson, David Lee Quigg of Belton, MO; and five great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were two brothers, George Blair and Jack Blair; and one grandson, Troy Quigg in 1982. A Memorial Service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Daniel Funeral Home with Rev. Roger McKee officiating. Burial to follow at Lake Cemetery.
