Genora O. Campbell

Genora O'Neal Campbell, age 83, of Lamar, MO died Thursday March 3, 2011 at Truman Healthcare Center.       Genora was born July 1, 1927 at Tulsa, OK to Thomas Walker and Etna (O'Neal) Edwards.  She graduated from Alba High School in 1945.  She married Grady Daniel Campbell November 29, 1953, at Lowery City, MO and together they had  five children. Grady preceded her in death in 2004 after 50 years of marriage.  She was a member of Jasper United Methodist Church, and a previous member of Jasper First Baptist Church. She was  a receptionist and bookkeeper for MFA Farmers Exchange in Jasper, worked with her husband at the Jasper Insurance Agency, Jasper MO, and had worked at Barton County Health Department.        Genora is survived by two sons, John Grady Campbell of Castle Rock, CO and Joe Daniel Campbell of Lamar; two daughters Amy Janell and Doug Earl and Jane Ann and Dr. Jeff Moyer, all of Lamar; four grandchildren, Karen Cleveland of Lamar, Kevin Earl of St. Joseph, MO, Dustin Moyer of Ashland, MO, and Michael Moyer of Lamar, MO and four great-grandchildren, Erica, Alexandria and Isaiah Cleveland, and Thomas Moyer.       In addition to her husband, Genora was preceded by her parents, an infant son, Jeff Thomas Campbell; two brothers George Edwards and Jack Edwards; and one sister, Hazel Roberts.      Funeral Services for Genora will be 1:00 pm Saturday March 5, 2011 at Daniel Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until service time at Daniel Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery, Jasper, MO.       Contributions are suggested to March of Dimes, American Cancer Society, or Alzheimer's Association in care of Daniel Funeral Home
