Hazel Marie Lowery

Hazel M. Lowery                         Hazel Marie Lowery, age 86, of Lamar passed away at 7:32 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2009 at Truman Healthcare Center.             Hazel was born July 13, 1922 in Bigelow, Arkansas to William M. and Fannie Marie (Kern) Jernigan. On June 9, 1988 she married Charles Robert Lowery in Kentucky and he preceded her in death October 23, 2002.  She moved to Lamar from the state of Texas in 1999.             Survivors include two brothers, Billy D. Jernigan, Tacoma, Washington, Bob Jernigan, Blackwell, Oklahoma; three sisters, Juanita Schmitt, Lamar, Missouri, Glenda Carlson, Gresham, Oregon, Mozelle Johns, Blackwell, Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.           A memorial service to celebrate Hazel’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Daniel Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
