Hildegard Dearmond

Hildegard Dearmond, age 78, of Greenfield, Missouri passed away July 22, 2022, at her home.   Hildegard was born May 5, 1944 in Scheinfeld, Germany to Josef Spies and Anna Marie (Lechner) Spies. On June 11, 2007, Hildegard married Thomas Lee Dearmond Jr. in Simpsonville, Kentucky.   Hildegard worked in the housekeeping department at St. John's in Springfield, Missouri. She loved working in her garden and tending to her chickens.   Survivors include two sons, Tom (Kimberly) Gibbens and George Gibbens, all of Springfield, MO.; one daughter, Anita Gibbens of Greenfield, MO, and one step-daughter, Vickie Dearmond of Louisville, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Ethan, Anna, Samuel, Alexander and Colby; two sisters, Barbara Hordenka of Ontario, Canada and Maria Wiesinger of Germany. Hildegard also left behind a lot of good friends in Kentucky.   Hildegard was preceded in death by her husband Thomas.   Services will be held at a later date.   In leiu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in care of Daniel Funeral Home   Condolences may be shared at www.dfhlamar.com
