Howard Edwin Sheets

Howard Edwin Sheets, age 71, of Golden City, Missouri passed away July 31, 2024, at Good Shepherd Community Care in Golden City, Missouri.

Howard was born May 27, 1953 in Lamar, Missouri to Glen Howard Sheets and Ruth Maurine (Tubaugh) Sheets. Howard graduated from Golden City High School in the class of 1971. 

Howard owned and operated his own auto repair, worked as a welder and farmed. Howard was a caring friend, ornery to his core, a believer in God, but most of all a loving father and very proud papa. 

Survivors include one son, Ryan (Halle) Sheets of Golden City, MO; two daughters, Ellise (Andrew) Austin of Golden City, MO., and Rachel Sheets of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Ayvun, Aldyn, Zoey and Benson.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents and a cousin, Johnny Tubaugh.

 A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Daniel Funeral Home. 

The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 p.m., until service time on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the funeral home.
