Jeanne L. Lingle

Jeanne L. Lingle, age 89, of Joplin, MO died Friday, May 17, 2013 at Spring River Christian Village. Jeanne was born September 28, 1923 to John & Bessie Root. She married Warren Lingle and together they raised a large family. She was a homemaker and also had worked as a School Crossing Guard and attended the Church of the Nazarene in Carthage, MO. Jeanne enjoyed crocheting, reading westerns and romance novels, loved doing puzzles, especially seek and find. Survivors include sons Mark & Thelma Lingle of CA, Leonard & Cynthia Lingle of Carl Junction, MO, John Lingle of MO and Harold Robert Lingle of MO; daughters, Patricia & John Oglesbee of Idabel, OK, Gloria George of Carthage, MO, Linda Lingle of MO; a daughter-in-law Teresa Lingle of Joplin, MO; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband Warren and a son Richard Lingle. Graveside service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at I.O.O. F. Cemetery at Golden City, MO.
