Jeff Woods

Jeffrey Wayne Woods, age 46, of Lamar, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at Freeman Hospital West of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Monday, January 26, 2009 in Lamar.      Jeff was born May 1, 1962, in Visalia, California, to William “Bill and Peggy (Morris) Woods. He lived in Lamar for the past 13 years, moving here from Visalia, California.  He was a forklift operator for Americold in Carthage, Missouri for the past 1 ½ years.  He formerly worked for O’Sullivans, and Thorco of Lamar.  Jeff was an avid sports fan, especially the Buffalo Bills Football and Buffalo Sabres Hockey Teams.  He also was an avid music lover especially his Rock-N-Roll Music      Survivors include his parents Bill and Peggy of Lamar, and sister Cindy Turner and her husband Paul, of Lamar, three nephews; Chris Mitchell, Sam Mitchell, and Michael Turner; two nieces; BreAnna Ware, and Ashley Turner; a great-nephew Damian Mitchell; and a great-niece Emersyn Ware.      The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Sunday February 1st at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar.      Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 2nd at Daniel Funeral Home Lamar, Missouri.       Memorial contributions are suggested to Lamar Animal Shelter in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
