Jerry Noyes

Jerry Ray Noyes, age 60, of rural Liberal, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017, at Truman Healthcare Center in Lamar.       Jerry was born March 6, 1957, at Pittsburg, Kansas, one of the four children of James and Luella (Bunton) Noyes.  He graduated from Liberal High School in 1975.  On June 23, 1978, in Jasper, Missouri, Jerry married Jane Joines and they made their home, raised their son, Kyle, and farmed in Barton County.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and the fellowship of Lamar Bowling Leagues.        Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Jane, of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Brianne Noyes of Liberal; two brothers, David Noyes, Pittsburg, Kansas and Chris (Tammy) Noyes, Cleveland, Missouri; a sister, Linda (Tim) Doty, Columbus, Ohio.  The light of Jerry’s life was his grandson, Spencer Ray Noyes and he was looking forward to welcoming another grandchild to the family in January.       Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 19th at Daniel Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.  Burial will be in Barton City Cemetery north of Liberal.       Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
