Julia Anne Carter

Julia Anne Carter, age 58, of Lamar, Missouri passed Friday, March 4, 2016 at Freeman Hospital West, Joplin, Missouri.      Julia was born to William “Bill” Heathman and Mary Anne (Davenport) Heathman, August 2, 1957 at Nevada, Missouri.  She graduated high school at Metz, Missouri and on September 10, 1975, she married Wendell E. Carter.  Julia was a homemaker and had also worked as a secretary for Hulls Trailer Mfg. as well as J & W Trailers in Lamar.      Survivors include her husband Wendell, of the home; one son, Brian Carter, Lamar, Missouri; two daughters, Brenda (Lee) Miller, Lamar, Missouri and Christi (Dave) Little, Nevada, Missouri; her father Bill Heathman, Nevada, Missouri; nine grandchildren, David Allen Jr, Destiny, Cody, Sarah, Karen, Lucy, Luke, Dakota, and Megan; and four great-grandchildren, Melanie, Rylan, Payton, and Bryson.  She was preceded in death by her mother.      Service will be 6:00 pm Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar, Missouri.
