Larry Allen McDaniel

Larry Allen McDaniel, age 82, of Lamar, Missouri passed away February 1, 2024.

Larry was born July 14, 1941 in Mindenmines, Missouri to Ora Herman McDaniel and Pearl (Edwards) McDaniel. Larry graduated from Mindenmines High School in 1959. On September 2, 1961, Larry married Georgia "Evelynn" Hoyt in Lamar, MO.

Larry owned and operated McDaniel Service Station. He loved visiting with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and he enjoyed going out to eat with his close friends.

Survivors include one daughter, Jalene Force of Lamar, MO; five grandchildren, Rachel (Brandon) Pennington of Lockwood, MO, Matthew McCann of Columbia, MO, Ashley (Jesse) Sherron of Lamar, MO, Kaitlynn Force and fiance Aaron Moenning of Lamar, MO., and Marin McDaniel of San Antonio, Texas; seven great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Jaxon, Kinley, Blakelynn, Isaiah, Ty and Olivia; his special friend, Carolyn Taffner; one brother-in-law, Larry (Liz) Hoyt of Lamar, MO; sister-in-law, Doris McDaniel of Carl Junction, MO., and several nieces and nephews and good friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one son, Terry McDaniel; two brothers, Gene McDaniel and Garry McDaniel; one sister, Rosella Prittard; and three great-grandsons, Gideon Cunningham, Bryar Cunningham and Kayden Force.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
