Lester Carroll

Lester Lee Carroll, age 80, of Lamar, Missouri passed away December 31, 2021, at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas.   Lester was born September 2, 1941 in Center Creek Township, Minnesota to Ralph Carroll and Helen (Rea) Carroll. On November 28, 1964, Lester married Gloria Jean Williams in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.   Lester worked as a crop farmer.   Survivors include his wife Gloria, one son, Gregory Lee Carroll of Nevada, Missouri, three daughters; Lisa Catherine (Allen) Lehman of Lamar, MO, Gina Georgeann (Eric) Kafer of Nevada, MO, and LeAnna Jean Carroll of Lamar, MO., nine grandchildren; Justin (Delnelle) Carroll, Taylor (Andrew) Melvin, Brenton Kafer, Jake Carroll, Dalton Brekke, Gianna (Jacob) Armstrong, Kyle Dahmer, Gelina Kafer and Shalea Dahmer, five great-grandchildren; Brenlee Kafer, Bailee Kafer, Colter Carroll, Cole Melvin and Hadley Armstrong, and one brother, Richard "Dick" (Carol) Carroll of Owatonna, MN.   Preceding Lester in death were his parents and three brothers.   Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 7, 2022, at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lake Cemetery in Lamar, MO.   Contributions are suggested and made payable to the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center in care of the funeral home.   Condolences may be shared at www.dfhlamar.com
