Lorena Palmer

Lorena Palmer, age 96, formerly of Lamar, died Tuesday November 13, 2012, at Tablerock Healthcare in Kimberling City, MO. Lorena was born November 7, 1916 at Mulberry, KS to William Henry and Susan (Richey) Burke. She was a high school graduate and on March 9, 1940 she married Harold Palmer and together they raised two sons.  She was a homemaker. Lorena is survived by two sons, Leo and Charlotte Palmer of Kimberling City, MO and Dennis & Carol Palmer of Greenbrier, TN; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Harold, two brothers and two sisters. Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 16, 2012 at Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be at 1:00 pm Friday at Daniel Funeral Home. Contributions are suggested to American Cancer Society or Wounded Warriors of Joplin in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
