Margery Pauline Miller

Margery Pauline Miller, age 89, of Lamar, died Friday October 28, 2011 after a short illness.        Margery was born February 23, 1922 at Lamar to James Alonzo "Lon" and Mary Catherine (Lawrence) Pritchett.  She attended country school at Hanes Grove. On December 24, 1941, she married Amos Miller at Lamar.  Margery was a homemaker and a caregiver. She was also a member of Jasper Christian Church and loved making quilts.       Survivors include one son, Vern & Karen Miller of Flower Mound, TX; one daughter, Arlene Buck of Lamar; five grandchildren, Travis and his wife Teresa Buck of Lamar, Nathan, Kyle, Daniel and David Miller, of Flower Mound, TX; two great-grandchildren, Jed & Clara Buck of Lamar; niece: Mary Lou Ahr of Ft. Wayne, IN.          Margery was preceded in death by her husband Amos on August 19, 2010, and daughter Virginia Erwin on October 23, 2007; three sisters, Laura Smith, Mary Woodrum, and Grace Vilas; and  two sons-in-law, Keith Buck on November 28, 2004, and James Erwin February 2007.          Funeral service for Margery will be 10:00 am Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lake Cemetery.
