Marion Darlington

Marion Arnold Darlington, age 78, of Liberal, MO died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Truman Healthcare Center. Marion was born August 30, 1934 at Bronaugh, MO to Thomas Eugene Darlington and Pearl Rose (Harrison) Darlington.  He was a crop and livestock farmer and had also worked for Midwest Minerals Rock Crusher in Southeast Kansas.  He attended the Mindenmines Christian Church, enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially loved putting puzzles together. Marion leaves behind three brothers, Glenn Darlington of Bronaugh, MO, Ray & Irma Darlington of Wichita, KS, Lee & Peggy Darlington of Albuquerque, NM; one sister, Edyth & David Weaver of Liberal, MO; special neighbors, Carl & Ola Pitts; and a caregiver, Crystal Pitts. Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers Donald Darlington and James Carl Darlington; and one sister, Dorothy Thomas Funeral service will be 11:00 Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Daniel Funeral Home with Rev. Roger McKee officiating.  Burial will follow at Worsley Cemetery. The family will receive friend from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
