Mary P. Schrader

Mary "Pat" Schrader, age 62, of Lamar died Sunday, August 05, 2012, at Barton County Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Pat was born June 16, 1950 at Monett, MO to Ralph Gordon and Mary Jo (Rigby) Carter.  She married Jerry Allen Schrader on August 22, 1969 at Springfield, MO and together they have three children. Pat lovingly cared for children in her home for the past 40 years and had a great influence on a lot of little lives. Survivors include her husband Jerry; a daughter, Jennifer Schrader of Lamar; two sons, Jason Schrader and Jonathan Schrader, both of Springfield, MO; five brothers, John & Debbie Carter of Springfield, MO, Robert & Judy Carter of Columbia, MO, Danny & Holly Carter of Scotland, MO. Mark & Ann Carter of Colorado Springs, CO, Todd Carter of Evanston, WY; eight sisters, Melinda Carter of Austin, TX, Anne Doughty of Austin, TX, Kathleen Carter of Glenn Allen, VA, Rachel Carter and Tom Wellman of Columbia, MO, Gretchen Desch of Columbia, MO, Flora & Rusty Deru of Wvanston, WY, Jean & John Cox of Evanston, WY, and Erin Beaslin of Shawnee Mission, KS.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
