Patricia Dawson

Patricia Ann Dawson, age 72, of Golden City, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 at her home.        Pat was born March 18, 1937, at Marshall, Missouri, to Benjamin and Idress (Hoppers) Parker.  She graduated from Grain Valley High School and had worked at Western Electric in Lee’s Summit for many years.  She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Independence, Missouri. On November 22, 2002, at Buckner, Missouri, Pat married James F. Dawson, and they have made their home in Golden City for the past four years.        Survivors include her husband, Jim, of the home; three sons, James Mallory, Grain Valley, Missouri, Brett Dawson, Fort Scott, Kansas, and Jeffrey Dawson, Kansas City, Missouri; three daughters, Lisa Speer and Roberta Ingrassia, both of Elmer, Missouri, and Terry Wright, Kansas City Missouri; two brothers, James Parker and Ed Parker, both of Blue Springs, Missouri: a sister, Wadean Holder, Marshall; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.        A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12th, at the Ingrassia Family Home in Elmer, Missouri.
