Phillip Purinton

Phillip Wayne Purinton, age 57, of Lamar, died at his home Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Phillip was born August 3, 1955 in Kansas City, KS to Ronald & Evelyn Purinton. He had worked as a baker for Butternut Bakery in Kansas City, and also as a  self employed house painter.  Phillip loved to fish, and loved spending time with his dogs, and was quite the jokester. Survivors include his wife Diane Coffey; his mother; two sons, Phillip Hendrickson of Lamar, MO, and Jordan Purinton of Kansas City, KS; two brother, Bruce  and Linda Purinton of Eudora, KS, and Paul Purinton, of Kansas City, KS; three grandchildren, MacKenzie Hendrickson of Springdale, AR, Zoey Purinton of Kansas City, KS, and Bret Jennings of Cleveland, MO. Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Purinton and a brother "Jr." Purinton who passed in 2008. A private service is scheduled.
