Raymond Brenton Hall, age 87, of Lamar, Missouri passed away August 9, 2024.

Ray was born May 24, 1937 in North Kansas City, Missouri, to Brenton Raymond Hall and Rose Marie (Pietre) Hall (who was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico). Ray graduated from North Kansas City High School in the class of 1954. Ray proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1954 to1958.

Ray worked for General Motors on the assembly line. He was a member of the United Auto Workers. He also worked as a lifeguard at Winwood Lake during his high school years, the Kansas City Police Department, Holt volunteer fire department, Holt EMT, was a security guard at several community colleges, Lake City Army Ammunition plant for many years and as an over-the-road truck driver for several years after he retired. 

Survivors include his companion, Marilyn Montague; two daughters, Crystle (Marc) Black of Lamar, MO., and Robin (Geno) Jezek of Lee Summit, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Tiffany (Steven) Sanders, Darren (Samantha) Eidson, Anthony (Jamie) Martin, Annetta Martin, Jaclyn (Daniel) Kranz, Chanel Jezek, Nicole (Jacob) Robertson, Curtis (Jeannie) Sartin, and Bryce (Abigail Morris) Bartholomew; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; one nephew and 6 nieces, one brother, Laurin Lester Hall of Springfield, Missouri and a cousin, Susan Hydeman-Routh.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Carla Jo Hall.

A funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Daniel Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
