Rhonda Butler, age 39, of
Lamar, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at Freeman
Hospital in Joplin, after a long, but courageous battle
with illness.
Rhonda was born December 16,
1970 to Ronnie and Linda (Walker) Means at Lamar. She graduated from Lamar
High School and attended Cosmetology School
in Carthage, MO. Rhonda
was a Baptist and was baptized in 1981. She worked as a Cosmetologist with her
mother at Country Carousel Cuts in Lamar. On August 19, 1989, she married Kevin Butler
at Lamar and together they have two daughters.
Her family was her joy and the center of her life!
Rhonda is survived by her
husband of nearly 21 years; two daughters, Krisalyn Butler of Lamar, and Kloye
Butler of Lamar; her parents, Ronnie and Linda Means, of Lamar; two brothers,
Rocky and Julie Means, of Lamar, and Rodney and Kerri Means of Nevada, MO;
Father-in-law and Mother-in-law David
and Jill Butler of Liberal, MO; and a great-great aunt Anita Means of Lamar; a
large extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be 6 to 7 pm
Friday, August 13, 2010 at Daniel Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Rhonda
will be 10:00 am Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Daniel Funeral Home, with burial
to follow at Lake
Cemetery, Lamar.
