Ricky Lee Darin Tubaugh

Ricky Lee Darin Tubaugh, age 52, of Golden City, Missouri graduated to Heaven on November 11, 2024, at 1:00am, at Solace House of the Ozarks in Joplin, Missouri after a five and a half year battle against cancer.

Ricky was born on June 2, 1972, in Joplin, Missouri, to Kenneth Earl Tubaugh and Joyce Estelle (Banta) Tubaugh. Ricky graduated from Golden City High School in the class of 1990. On September 17, 1994, Ricky married Sheila Marie Sims in Golden City, Missouri.

Ricky worked as an auto mechanic. He also worked as a sprayer for MFA. He enjoyed deer hunting, watching the Raiders, Lakers, and St. Louis Cardinals, and caring for his dogs. Ricky loved being able to coach all his kids in baseball and basketball, but most of all Ricky loved playing with his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila; two sons, Christopher Tubaugh, Austin Tubaugh and his wife, Ashtyn; one daughter, Cassandra Tubaugh; five grandchildren, Karson, Cayde, Kinley, Lydia and Lylah; one sister, Brenda Combs and her husband, Johnnie; three aunts, Janet Tubaugh, Rita Johnson and Betty Wester; mother-in-law, Deb Elliott; and other close family, Candice, Carla, Doug, and Madi, along with several others.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents; stepmom, Priscilla Tubaugh; brother, Terry Tubaugh, along with several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Daniel Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Dudenville Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00pm on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the funeral home.
