Robert Warren Laxson

Robert Laxson, age 74, of Jerico Springs, died Sunday, May 30, 2010, at St. John’s Regional Medical Center.   Robert was born September 8, 1935 at Brownsville, TX to Valentine and Sally (Strausburgh) Laxson. Robert is one of five children, with three brothers, Jimmy, Roy, and Ron, and one sister Jean. On June 14, 1958 he married Joyce Marie Fasching at Fontana, CA and together they raised their six children.  Robert served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1961.  Robert was of the Catholic faith.   Robert is survived by his wife of 51 years; three sons, Robert Laxson Jr. of Pittsburg, KS, Dustin Laxson of Lamar, and Jesse Laxson of Lamar; three daughters Dawn Brabo of Lockwood, Windie Avilla of Lamar, and Reba Hennessey of Springfield, MO; fifteen grandchildren, and many other family and friends.   Honoring Robert’s request, private family services are being conducted.
