Rose Dyer

Rose Selma Dyer, age 73, of Nevada, formerly of Golden City, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Truman Healthcare Center.        Rose was born September 25, 1943, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Robert T. and Marie L. (Eithier) Dyer.  Rosie was a long-time area resident, living many years at Wyatt House in Golden City and the past six years at Walnut Street Group Home in Nevada.  Her warm smile and infectious laugh brightened many days for friends and co-workers at Vantage Point in Lamar.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and often listened to the local Catholic radio station.        Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 14th, at Daniel Funeral Home with Rev. Patrick Teter officiating.  Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Golden City.        Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
