Ruby Barrow

Ruby Jane Barrow, age 86, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021. Ruby was born March 24, 1934, in Milford, MO, the daughter of Richard and Hazel (McDonald) Miller. Ruby worked many years for Chastain's Nursing Home as a Nurse Aide, finally retiring from O'Sullivan Industries in Lamar, MO. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Barton County Senior Center, listening to Gospel Music, and taking care of her Fur Babies. Surviving are her three children, David Ferguson, Springfield, MO, Betty (Jerry) Brewer, Springfield, MO and Russell (Debbie) Barrow, Lamar, MO; five grandchildren, Dustan, David, Jeremy, Jeri, and Justin; 13 great-grandchildren, Gabe, Dylan, Kyah, Sierra, Seth, Jordan, Jaden, Hunter, Katlin, Isaac, Jasmine, Scarlett, and Trinity. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Le Roy Ferguson, sisters Juanita Prouse, and Reba Steppe, and her brother Lee. The graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Lake Cemetery.
