Shawn K. Eccher

Shawn Kevin Eccher, age 40, of Liberal, MO  died Tuesday April 3, 2012 from complications from surgery. Shawn was born September 25, 1971 at Girard, KS to Carl Henry and Mildred Jeannie (Kendall) Eccher.  He was a 1990 graduate of Liberal High School and served his country in the United States Marine Corp. serving three tours overseas.  Shawn loved fishing, hunting and horseback riding. On October 7, 2007 he married Christal Ann Stevens at Burgess, MO, and she survives of the home. Additional survivors include two sons, Colton John Eccher and Caleb Zane Eccher of Lockwood; two daughters, Seana Fern Eccher and Abigail Nichole Eccher, both of the home; father and mother in law, Randall and Jane Stevens; brother in law, Bryan Stevens and wife; brother in law Bradley Stevens; brother in law Justin Stevens and wife; sister in law Randi Stevens; his parents, Carl and Mildred Eccher, of Lamar; one brother, Carl Henry Eccher Jr., of Kansas City, KS; a grandmother, Katherine Eccher of Lamar.  Shawn also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and family and friends. Shawn is now taking care of his nephew, Kaiden Michael Parker Stevens who died February 20, 2012. There will be a private family service held. Condolences may be left at www.danielfuneralhome.
