Sydney Mendez Kelley

Sydney Elena Mendez Kelley, six day old infant daughter of Jose Gabriel Mendez Parra and Shari Ann Kelley, died Sunday June 3, 2012 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, MO. Sydney was born May 28, 2012 at Cox Hospital South, Springfield, MO. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Scott and Pam Kelley of Lamar; paternal grandparents Ezequiel Mendez and Elena Parra; great grandfather, Donald G. Kelley of Lamar, and great grandmother Frieda Leer of Nevada, MO; two uncles, Zachary Kelley of Lamar and Ezequiel Mendez; and three aunts, Guadalupe Mendez., Bertha Aracely Mendez, and Rocio Mendez. Preceding her in death is her great grandmother, Shari Moore Kelley. Funeral service will be 10:00 am June 7, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Lamar with Rev. Robb Hodson officiating. Visitation from 9:00 to 10:00 am  on June 7, 2012. Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Kelley, Scott Kelley, Mike Kelley, Terry Kelley, Shawn Kelley, and Manual Mendez.
