Terri J. Elswick

Terri J. Elswick, age 63, of Frederick, MD died at University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, MD after a short illness.  Terri was born December 7, 1950 in Lamar, MO to Jimmie Combs and Dorothy A. (Plain) Combs. She graduated Lamar High School in 1969 and on May 30 the same year she married Lonnie R. Elswick of Lamar, MO and together they had two sons. Terri was a homemaker, loved to garden, quilt, sew, collect antiques, art and travel.   Terri leaves behind her husband of almost 45 years; two sons, Bric Elswick and his wife Laurie, and Nathan Elswick and his wife Jennifer Elswick; one sister Coleen Calton; three brothers, Jimmie Dale & Sue Combs, Johnnie Lee & Brenda Combs, and Charlie & Theresa Combs; six grandchildren, Ashley Holloman, Katie Abbott, Wesley Elswick, Avery Elswick, Jeremy Elswick, and Jo Leigh Elswick; two great-grandchildren, Tatum Abbott and Maddie Holloman. Preceding her in death were her parents, Jimmie and Dorothy Combs, and her in-laws Gene and Marion Elswick.  Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday May 19, 2014 at Daniel Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Turnbough officiating.  Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home. Contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
