Tim Forst

Timothy Aaron Forst, age 24, of Carl Junction, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 due to an accident near Lamar.       Tim was born March 22, 1987 in Lamar, Missouri, the sixth of the six children of Leonard and Diana (Andersen) Forst.  He graduated from Lamar High School in 2005 and earned certification as a diesel mechanic at Wyoming Tech in Laramie in 2006.  Tim was a skillful diesel mechanic and worked for Fleet Pride (formerly Premier) in Joplin.  He had been active in Lamar FFA and was a charter member of Spittin' Llamas Club in Carl Junction.  Tim was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lamar.       On August 8, 2009, at Carl Junction, Missouri, Tim married Jessy Ellis, and she survives, of the home.  Also surviving are his parents, Leonard & Diana Forst, Lamar; Jessy's parents, Jim & Cammy Ellis, Carl Junction; four brothers, David & Kristina Forst, Michael Forst, Bradley & Julie Forst, and Kevin & Lelia "Tumble" Forst, all of Lamar; a sister, Carlynn Forst, Jackson, Missouri; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jimmy & Megan Ellis, Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Katy Ellis, Carl Junction; grandparents, Elsie Andersen, Nevada and Bill & Linda Ellis, Reeds, Missouri.  Tim also leaves treasured nephews and nieces, Emma & Ethan Forst, Kendall & Katelyn Gotcher, Ayden & Rustin Forst, Kayli & Braden Cole, Shelby & Layla Forst; a large extended family; and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law and nephew, Kelly (Blackford) & Adam Forst.       A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lamar with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.      The family will receive friends immediately following a rosary service that will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Daniel Funeral Home.       Memorial contributions are suggested to the Tim Forst Family Memorial Fund in care of Daniel Funeral Home.       Condolences may be sent at www.danielfuneralhome.net
