Virgil Alan Shaw

Virgil Alan Shaw, age 65, of Lamar, Missouri passed away November 23, 2021, at Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Lamar, MO.   Virgil was born December 9, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas to Virgil Leroy Shaw and Norma Jean (Brasier) Shaw.  On June 1, 1998, Virgil married Myra Ann Carter in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.   Virgil worked as a police officer and retired from the United States Army.   Survivors include his wife Myra, one step-son; Darrell Carter of Shawnee, Oklahoma, one brother; William Lowell Shaw of Edmond, Oklahoma and two nephews; Andy Shaw and Hayden Shaw along with four beloved furbabies; Gracie, Mousie, Penny and Sammi.   Virgil was preceded in death by his parents.   Private family services will be held.   Condolences may be shared at www.dfhlamar.com
