William "Bill" Witham

William "Bill" Curtis Witham, age 75, of Lamar, Missouri passed away May 1, 2020, at his home.   William was born March 31,1945 in Topeka, KS to Lesley Curtis Witham and Ruth Marie (McClain) Witham. On September 16, 1986, William married Marcia L. Merritt in Richmond, MO.   William served in the United States Marine Corps from 1963 to 1967. He worked at O'Sullivan's for 10 years and was a truck driver for Hallmark for 14 years. William was an avid golfer and biker.   Survivors include two daughters; Jamey Sue Clark and Misha Lynn, both of Kansas City, MO, one step-daughter; Melissa (Bob) Oertle, Lamar, MO, two step-sons; Randy (Katie) Day and Russ Day, both of Lamar, one son-in-law; Tommy Gartman, Lamar, one sister; Martha (Joseph) Bright, Lamar; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and nephew Mike Boyle.   Preceding William in death were his wife Marcia; his parents; a brother, James Witham and step-daughter Sam Gartman.   Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Howell Cemetery in Milford, MO.   Condolences may be shared at www.dfhlamar.com
